On the Move Again

Wow, I know I have not posted in a while. I've gotten so far behind, it would take me forever to catch up and our camera has been dead for I don't know how long, so everytime we go to take a new picture of Halle, guess what? Anyway, we finally put our house up for sale and are praying that God will make things work. This is our current house

which for those of you who know us and know Demopolis, knows it's a busy street. We love our house, but desperately miss our garage and a neighborhood. And hopefully this will be our next home.

Anyway, I will keep you all updated on what's going on. As for now, please continue to pray for my best friends little girl Anna Coleman. She has her good days and bad days. Hopefully, they will be able to come home for a little while before too long. Also, please pray for Jennifer's strength and her amazing faith to continue. She amazes me everyday. Jennifer is so strong! Hope you all have a great 4th weekend!

Wow, I don't know where to even start. I can't believe you are going to be two years old. How the time flys. You have grown so much and you are so smart. You walk around the house all the time singing and laughing. I don't know what your dad and I would do without you. You are the most fun loving sociable little person. You are shy to a point, but love to speak to everyone you see regardless of whether you know them or not. You love to "hep" aka help momma or dadda whether it be watering pants aka plants or taking out the trash to sweeping the floor. Your daddy and I love to laugh at all the little things you say and do. I hope that you continue to love to learn just as you do now. You love your sissy and love to call she and Rhae on the phone and talk. I can't wait for the many many years that lie ahead of us as well. I am so proud to be your mommy. I love you baby girl!!

I hope you all had a great Easter. Our family did. Nothing special, but we got to spend it with some of our favorite people. On Saturday our Church Easter Egg hunt was cancelled due to the weather so Darrin and I decided to hide eggs for Halle in the house and she loved it. Everytime she would find an egg she would scream, "I find egg, momma". It was adorable and she was really good at finding them too. Darrin and I took turns hiding them and them we were tired. Halle and I packed up along with Dana and Rhae and went to Meridan so that I could do last minute shopping for an Easter dress. I kept thinking I could wear a dress that I had already bought, but not worn. That didn't work so off we went and boy was it busy. I found a new dress and shoes to match. I was a happy camper. On Sunday, we slept in and went to the 11am service instead of the early service that we usually go to. We woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had been here. Halle had m&m's for breakfast, we both got baths and got ready and off to Sunday School and Church we went. Following Church we had a great lunch with the Clem's, Hynniman's, Kelley's and Cameron's. After lunch we headed back to the Cameron's for an Easter egg hunt. We finished out afternoon with a golf cart ride at the Country Club. I would say that we had a great fun filled day.

Baby's Got a New Pair of Shoes

My sister had originally gotten Halle the new rainbow sandals with a strap on the back, but I thought they looked to much like boy sandals so today since Halle was at home sick we ran (literally) to Linden to Ziggy Zelda's to swap them out with the matching pair of Tevas like Rhaes. I thought they were too cute with the crabs on them. Halle loves them had hasn't taken them off since we got home. I was going to give them to her for Easter, but I couldn't wait until then.

I am proud to say that Halle has not been sick enough to stay at home in a while and I am so thankful for that. We had such a wonderful weekend playing outside and planting flowers then last night she started running fever. I took it three different times and it was 100.2, 100.5 and 100.8. I gave her Motrin hoping and praying it was nothing and would be gone this morning, but she woke up this morning with fever not as high, but still fever. I am sitting here with her in the bed now and praying this does not turn into the stomach virus. As we sit here I am hearing her stomach make some really funny noisy. Just please say a prayer for her when you read this. Thanks

My New Car

It's not a great picture, but I love my new car. It's a 2010 Honda Pilot and I am in serious love. For anyone looking to purchase a new SUV and are not sure, you should check this one out. It drives like I imagine a cloud would. They are bigger than the old ones were. Very nice and roomy with TONS of storage space.

I just thought I would share with everyone our girls trip to Belmont last Saturday night for my birthday. We had all been talking about going to stay in the cabins at Mimosa Ridge for a while. It is wonderful over there and so close to home. We took lots of food and good drinks too. We had the best time singing karaoke and just laughing together. Thanks girls for such a wonderful weekend.

Okay, so I have about decided to let my sister start keeping Halle instead of letting her go to daycare!!!!!!!!!!!! I awoke this morning to Halle in her bed barking like a seal!! I thought oh she will be okay. Well I went on to get ready to go to work and when I went to wake her up I could literally hear every breath she took. I called my step-mom to see if she thought the strep could be part of it, but she mentioned bronchitis and I freaked out. So, I called Darrin and he told me to go ahead and take her to the doctor in Tuscaloosa. So, we left the house about 7:20 this morning and signed in at the doctor at 8:30 with 10 other walk-ins ahead of us. Well we finally got called back to a room at 10:00. We got to see the doctor about 10:30. I was not very happy and Halle was getting very antsy. So, she now has the Croup. She could not go back to daycare today and they want her to stay out tomorrow. They say that croup is usually a three day illness and on the second day, which would be tomorrow that they usually run fever. So, here we are again at home. I finally accrued 1 sick day at work yesterday and had to use it today!!! That really sucks. Hopefully I will get them built back up soon. Please keep us in your prayers that Halle will get well soon.

This past Saturday we all went to Greensboro for John Huston's first birthday. They had it so cute with a dog theme. They had cookies that looked just like dog biscuits, cereal that looked like dog food and some yummy puppy chow( just the name of it), but it's made with chex cereal, chocolate, peanut butter and confectioner sugar. Yum!!! Oh and don't forget about the yummy cake and ice cream that I broke my diet for. I really hate that I forgot my camera at home. So I have no pictures to share. Happy Birthday John Huston. There has not been much new going on with the Hynniman family lately other than sickness. Two weeks ago Halle came home on a Thursday running fever. The next morning Darrin took her to our local doctor in town and she tested positive for the flu and negative for strep, but they treated her anyway for strep since it has been going through her daycare like crazy. So, we were treating her with antibiotics and tamiflu for about a week. She stayed in and we were all going stir crazy, but with the weather being as cold as it has we decided she better stay in. She finally got to go back to daycare last Tuesday. We are all so excited that she is feeling better.

I am at home in the bed with a cough that will not STOP!!!!! The only way it will stop is when I take my cough meds and that knocks me right on out. Well for those of you who knew, and there weren't very many of you, we pulled of our surprise visit to my mom in Texas!! My sister, her husband and two kids along with Halle and I left last Saturday pulling out of Demopolis at 6:30a.m. It is only a 7 1/2 hour drive, but between, both the girls, Dana and myself all having to stop and go to the bathroom or let the girls out of their car seats we finally made it to my mom's in about 9 hours. Yes, I know, you should have been the ones in the car with two screaming 1 year olds! And if any of you know Rhae and know what it sounds like when she cries, Dana and I were just exhausted once we got there. We had a great visit and lots of fun just hanging out. Oh and one of my very good friends that I have not seen in 12 years came on Thursday with her two kids to visit. We had a great time eating and catching up with each other. I have posted all the pictures I took below.

Well, last week Halle had her first play date at our house. Her BFF Lily came over to play for a little while. It was really funny how it happened and I would love to share it. So, after work, I stopped by Andi's house(Lily's mom) and while I was there Lily came up to me and I picked her up and walked around with her. I said Lily do you want to go with me and she waved bye bye to Andi. We continued to do this for a while. I made my way to the front door and Lily was still waving bye bye to her mommy, so I told Andi to go get her dressed and off we went. She never cried, she never fussed and we got to the house and the girls chased each other around and had fun laughing and playing. Andi could not believe that she went with me and never looked back. Well, I guess you can see that Halle has found out that she loves to bang on my computer and loves to as I call it text on my phone. The computer thing has become a problem because everytime I am on the computer she thinks she can come and push all the buttons. Nope, wrong. Guess that was my fault for letting her do it once. My cell phone is a different story. Halle thinks everytime we get in the car she is supposed to have my cell phone. So, all I have to do is lock it and she goes to town pushing buttons and really does look like she is texting. Our baby girl has gotten so big and is growing up so fast.

kay, I don't know how many of you watch Jon & Kate Plus 8, but that is my life on Monday nights. As I sit here and watch tonight's episode I am just devastated about their decision to separate!!! I know that it happens everyday in many families, but I guess I feel like they are part of my family and because they are separating just hurts me. I know most of you are saying, it's just TV because that is what Darrin says to me all the time, but when you watch a SHOW regardless of what kind it is, you get hooked and wound up in it.

I am so very sorry that I am just now updating on Rhae. Below is an email that Dana sent for me to pass along to everyone else. Thank you all for your concerns, calls and prayers. We are so fortunate to have baby Rhae part of our lives.

God is good! Dr. Esposito came in a little while ago and said Rhae's arm has a small callous forming so we will not do surgery as this is an indicator of healing. She is having a custom-made brace put on and he said we should expect it to take about another 2 weeks to heal. Her lungs still showed a little infiltrate from the pneumonia, so I guess it's good we are not having surgery after all. We were worried about her heart being a little enlarged so they did an echo which was essentially normal but did show a small hole at the top which he said was a little prolapse into one of the valves Her heart size was ok, but because of the deep sinking in of her chest (pectus excavatum), it is pushing her heart back and to the side which makes it look enlarged. Dr. E is having a cariothoracic surgeon look at her xrays for ideas. We are currently waiting on him to finish a case and come back and see what he thinks about the brace so we canbe cleared to go. Prayers Needed

For those of you who know me and my family or for those of you who may read my sister's blog as well (thebusbybuzz) may or may not know by now that about two weeks ago my niece Rhae(14 mths) broke her arm. She has been on pain meds for two weeks now and her arm is not healing. Her doctor in town splinted it per her doctor in Omaha. Well as of this morning at 7:30a.m. Dana and Rhae were on their way to Omaha for Rhae to have surgery tomorrow at 12:30p.m. They will not know until they get in there whether or not they will put a rod in or a wire. My sister and her family have not only been blessed by Rhae, but again have been blessed by God today!! Dana has been trying to find flights for a couple of days now and in her search she found a ministry that is called Pilots for Christ. They picked Dana and Rhae up this morning at the Demopolis Airport and took them to Arkansas where she changed planes and they continued on to Omaha. All free of charge!!!!! They will also come back and get them to bring them home. This ministry is actually out of Monroeville, Al. They work solely off of donations. So I ask you if anyone which there have been many to ask what they may do to help Dana and her family. Please donate to this WONDERFUL ministry. You may go to www.pilotsforchrist@yahoo.com. I am not sure what info if any is there, but Dana will be able to us this ministry anytime she has to flight to Omaha. And not only did she get her flight for free, a room came available at the Rainbow House which is like the Ronald McDonald house. It's free as well for them to stay there. My mom was also able to meet them there. So, all I have to say today is PRAISE GOD!!!!!! Please think of Rhae and Dana tomorrow. Please pray for Dana's strength to continue. Please pray that they will find the best fit for Rhae, whether it be the rod or wire in her arm. I will try and keep you all updated.

I hope all of you had a great Memorial weekend. We enjoyed it, doing pretty much of nothing due to the rain. It was nice though. Darrin was home and here lately that doesn't happen often. With Summer in full swing and him being in charge of our tournaments at the Country Club he is pretty much gone all the time getting ready for those. And on top of that he has just worked an outage at work that required him to be at the plant for almost 20, 12 hour days if not more straight. Anyway, he and I ended up putting up our pop-up tent Saturday afternoon so that we could cook on Darrin's NEW Green Egg. He has had it for probably a month now if not long, but has been building this...

And has fallen in love for the third time in his life. HaHa. We cooked on the Egg Saturday night, Sunday night and again on Monday. We had a great time and the food was great too. One of the times that it stopped raining this weekend, we decided to put Halle in her swim suit and take her outside. Dumb me didn't know that the pool water was 76 degrees, so needless to say Halle didn't get to have her first pool dip. She did look the part though.

Latest Update

Okay I know that it's been a couple of days since I told about my prayer request. I just got off the phone and was told that my great grandmother is doing better. They could not find where the bleeding was coming from, but the bleeding has stopped. If everything is still better tomorrow, she will get to go back to the nursing home.

Dana, my mom and Rhae made it to Omaha. Rhae LOVED the airplane ride. They sad she only got sick once when the plane was a little bumpy. They said when they were taking off she would watch out the window. Praise God for making it a nice and safe trip for them and for letting Rhae enjoy it instead of being miserable.

My dad is still scheduled for his surgery in a couple of weeks. Please still pray that it will go as planned with no complications.

My aunt Kaye is recovering great. She is up and moving about. Slow, but still moving.

Thanks to all that prayed for our family. They were obviously answered. Praise God for that.

Let me just start by saying that Darrin has been working 12 hour days for over 7 days now and Halle and I miss him terribly. After this weekend of it being just Halle and I Saturday and Sunday ALL day long, Darrin leaving before 5am and not getting home until 7 or 8pm, I raise my hat to all those single mothers out there! So, I said all of that to say yesterday afternoon while I was in the kitchen trying to get dinner ready and Halle fed she was in the highchair I thought eating when I turned around and found a piece of carrot on her head and mac and cheese smeared all over her face. When I finally gave in took her out of her highchair, what little bit of hair she has was matted to her head from carrot juice and I assume mac and cheese. She was so tired that she decided it would be fun to play in her food instead of eat it. I thought it was too funny not to share.

Huge Prayer Request

I normally don't do this, but have come to realize the more people there is praying for one person the better. This morning after getting home from Church I got a call from my mother saying that my 101 year old great-grandmother was being taken to the hospital by ambulance due to hemorrhaging. I know that she has lived a very long life and has seen and done more than any of us every will, but I pray that she will be comfortable and God's will, will be done whatever it may be. Please keep our family in your prayers.

My mother is thankfully in town (from Texas). She, my sister and baby Rhae will be leaving Tuesday flying out to Omaha, Nebraska to take Rhae to the OI clinic. Please pray that they will have a safe trip there and back and that Rhae will get good reports.

My aunt Kaye had another back surgery this past Monday and is recovering from that. She is in pain and can move around a little, but still needs all the prayers that she can.

I have said all of this to say as we speak our family is trying to make several different decisions on who will go with my grandmother to Evergreen where my great-grandmother lives in a nursing home. Someone will have to stay here with my grandfather who has dementia because he can no longer take care of himself. They will be taking him tomorrow to the nursing home to stay until my grandmother can get back. So, with my mother flying out on Tuesday, my uncle needing to be here with is wife whom just had back surgery and someone needing to stay with my grandfather and someone needing to drive my grandmother. Whoa. I hope that all made sense because my brain is on overload. Anyway, just please keep our family in your prayers that everyone gets to where they need to go and be safely.

One last prayer request. My dad was scheduled to have a small surgery this past Monday himself and due to a problem with the blood work was unable to have it. He is scheduled to have it in three weeks. Please pray that he will be able to have the surgery and that everything will go as planned.

Well, Darrin has been working 12 hour days this past week and is having to work this weekend as well due to an outage they are having at work. So, while Halle and I were bored at home, I came up with something new for us to do. After all, I was sick of playing peek-a-boo ALL day long and all the toys were getting old very quickly. Here is Halle's newest fun. She loves crawling in and out and for me to say peek-a-boo when she pokes her head out.

I have been car shopping for a while now and finally made my decision of what I wanted. I had narrowed it down to an Acadia or a Tahoe and I think I made a wonderful decision. I absolutely love it and would suggest to anyone who might want one to go for it. Especially now with all the great rebates and interest rates that the car dealerships have. Any of you who know me know that I am a Ebay freak. Well I happened upon these adorable red angel shoes for Halle. I also found an adorable pair of white leather Mary Jane keds. I found both pairs on ebay for like a couple of dollars a piece. When I got them here I tried them on Halle and the keds were too small, which I was really upset about because they were sooo cute. The red shoes, she loves. I let her wear them to daycare yesterday and she loved them. Here are the pics from that.

More Severe Weather!!!

Okay so I don't know about the rest of you, but I am SICK of all this bad weather. I went to lunch today with my friend Angie and we got the call while on our way back to work that schools were closing at 1p.m. Well when I left work it was beautiful outside. That's so crazy to me. Since being home I have washed Halles dirty bottles from school, my weekly boiling of pacys and nipples and then Halle and I played for a little while before she headed off to la la land. Of course doing my usual knowing there is bad weather coming. I am posting pics that I took. I hope all of you are safe and will miss all the bad weather.

It's Almost Over

Well this weekend is almost over and I could not be more ready. We started off Friday with Halle having her tubes put in and everything went well. She is recovering rather well. Saturday we dealt with her fussiness all day. Saturday night, I got sick with obviously a 24 hour bug. About 9pm that night I started throwing up and had an upset stomach too. It was horrible. I woke up this morning and decided to stay home from Church and re coop. Why is it when you get sick, it takes all the energy you have with it? My dad called after Church to tell me I missed him reading the announcements and welcoming this morning. Man, what I would give to hear that again! For those of you who don't know my dad, that took alot of guts to get up in front of our Church. He said he was very nervous which I would have been too. Anyway, so I have spent the whole day lying around and I have already taken TWO naps. Yes, I have a wonderful hubby who stayed home from his second love (playing golf) to take care of Halle. I know it is killing him to seeing that he couldn't play yesterday. So, please pray that we have a better week. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Okay, so I bought this Easter basket back in January and have had it up in the top of Halle's closet, but I decided since I have started picking up things here and there I wanted to share all the cute things with y'all. So here are the pictures I took this morning of her things.

What a Week!!

Okay, so I know that it is ONLY Wednesday, but Halle has been fighting a fever since Friday! I was called from daycare and thank goodness Darrin was already home from work and could go and get her. So we dealt with the fever all weekend and I took her to her ped doctor Monday morning. They gave her some antibiotics and off we went. My step-mom, Jennifer kept Halle when we got home so I could go to work. Thank you Nana, we love you so much. Well, when Darrin got home that afternoon Halle was just waking up from a nap and he said she felt really hot so he took her temp and to our surprise it was 104.5 and that is with adding the degree. We both panicked and I immediately called my wonderful nurse sister and she went and got a flu swab to give Halle. It was negative so we were relieved. We got her fever back down and she ate a little that night and I put her to bed around 6:30p.m. She woke up screaming at around 7:30p.m. and was almost just limp. I again called my sister and asked her what to do. We then gave Halle another dose of Tylenol and a double dose of Motrin. That was the first for the Motrin since she is having tubes put in. The ENT asked us not to give her Motrin because of something in it and her having surgery. Anyway, my sister explained to me that she was at the point that if her fever got any higher she could start having feverable(sp) seizures and explained what to do if she started having one. Well, I think that scared Darrin and I both, so we decided to take her on to the ER. That was a waste. We got there at 9:00p.m. on the nose and got back home at 11:00p.m. Once we got her there and they called us back to take her temp the Motrin had apparently kicked in because her temp was only 97.4. Boy did we get weird looks. So we wanted to see the ER doctor who did nothing but talk to us and tell us to continue to do what we were already doing!! Since then we have been swapping up staying at home with her and hope that she is at the end of the sick road. Today is obviously my day because I am writing a book. I just put Halle down for a nap and I am loving the peace and quite. So please pray that Halle is on the end of the sick road and will feel better soon.

Well, I took Halle back to the ENT Monday for her 8 week check-up and guess what? She is having tubes put in March 27th at 6am. Woo Hoo. I am so excited. No, I really am because we have a had very mad hornet on our hands these past couple of days. She has fluid on both ears and has not been able to get comfortable. So please pray for us that everything will go okay and we will have our little angel back soon. I also had a orthodontic appointment Monday and I found out that I have to get braces!!!! I am too old for braces!!! The doc says I should not have to have them any longer than 24 months, which is not that bad, but YUCK. So, I do not have a date for that. I told them that we would have to take care of baby girl first and then me last. Please keep us in your prayers. Also, cousin Rhae is sick so please pray for her as well. Nothing serious, just the normal sickness, running a fever and lots of snot.

I guess you can tell that I am trying to get caught up with my posts and of course pics. I was just telling Darrin today that I cannot believe that Halle and Rhae both are fixing to be ONE year old next month. Gosh, where has the time gone? Well, that is a no brainier. That would be many countless nights of no sleep, changing diapers all the time, feeding every time you turn around, playing, crying, laughing, washing bottles, washing baby clothes and now chasing Halle all around, but I would not change a thing about the past 11 months of my life. Well, about having Halle or being married to my wonderful husband and of course not having my mom here. I am so proud to be the mother of such a wonderful baby girl who loves everything about her little life. Who never meets a stranger and loves to laugh. I look forward to all the fun we have ahead. As you can tell by looking at the pictures, I have a webcam in my hand. My mom gave it to Darrin for x-mas and this was only the second time for us to TRY to use it. I was trying to follow Halle around with the webcam while she crawled, rolled and moved everywhere around the room. At the same time, my mom was IMing me so I was also trying to type to her. Well Halle found my laptop and decided to just bang on it because it was fun and made lots of noise. Well we decided that was not a good idea for her to be doing that and of course when I told her NO that put an end to the webcam viewing for my mom. Halle pitched one of her wonderful fits and we had to put away the laptop and the webcam. Sorry mom, hopefully one day you will be able to enjoy your present that you gave Darrin.

Well, we did get a little bit of snow here in Demopolis. We got up this morning at watched ABC3340's snow coverage and then took Halle outside for a very short minute. I don't think she too much liked it and the wind took her breath away. We are hoping for snow never year and hopefully then she will want to get out in it. I hope all of you had fun in the snow. Birthday Sunday Picnic with the family

Well my dad called me Saturday afternoon and gave me a choose of several different things we could do for my family. Out of all those choices I decided to have a picnic after Church on Sunday. It was an absolutely beautiful day. My sister and I arrived first with the kids. Aidan and Halle played on the swings for a while and Rhae watched them. When Nana and Molly arrived we all decided to plop down on the picnic table and wait for Bo (my dad) to arrive with the wonderful FRIED chicken that I was NOT suppose to eat. Anyway, once he got there we all dug in the wonderful meal that Nana had prepared, minus the chicken. Our menu consisted of Jack's fried chicken, spinach salad topped with lots of bacon, mushrooms, eggs and of course the great dressing that goes on top. We also had a bean bake that had several different types of beans in it and tasted like baked beans. It was awesome as well. Everyone other than Nana and I had Jack's biscuits. They looked so wonderful too. For my birthday cake, I had a LITTLE BITTY weight watchers chocolate cake with 1 candle in it. It was the best little chocolate cake. Thanks to Nana and Bo for making such a wonderful picnic lunch and great company. I am posting the pics of Halle and her first swinging other than her baby swing. She loved it.

Well this weekend I went and picked up a friend of ours car to take for a test drive and loved it. It looks like this. (Except it is not an 09 it's an 07 and it's white). I loved it. I thought I would have a hard time going from an SUV to a car, but it was awesome. Putting Halle in her big girl car seat was easier and it drove like a dream. Anyway, hopefully my vehicle will sale very soon and I will be purchasing a car.

I do not know how in the world I could forget to tell everyone this, but Darrin has been telling me that he thinks Halle has said momma several times (of course I wasn't there), but this morning while getting her dressed she said it. Oh, she just melted my heart in thousands of pieces. It was probably the most beautiful words I have ever heard!!! It was kinda like when Renee Zellenger said to Tom Cruise in Jerry McGuire, "You had me at hello." Oh, so wonderful. I guess I will be glowing the rest of the day.

This morning I decided to look back over my post that I have made the past couple of times I have posted and realized that I forgot to post that Halle is official crawling!! I don't really think that she likes it too much. The first couple of days at home she would cry the whole time she crawled. She is not all over the place and into everything yet, but I am sure it is to come once she realizes there is SO much to get into. Good thing her wonderful daddy has already installed the cabinet locks on most of the cabinets in our house. We definitely needs to hurry and put up the gate we bought before she stumbles down the very small flight of stairs we have. Anyway, I just didn't want to leave that one out.

I know that I have heard so many people say, my child did that too, but last night Halle fell off of our bed unto the floor. Yes, she is okay and was not hurt. Just cried a little and after much mommy loving she forgave me for letting her fall. To my mother and sister, I don't want to hear a word out of either one of you. I already feel bad enough. And mother, at least it wasn't the concrete!!! For those of you know don't know when I was a baby I slipped out of my mothers arms onto the concrete at our home while my mother was trying to open the back door. So for all of you who have ever made a joke about me being dropped on my head, I hope you feel bad. HaHa. Anyway, I really do feel bad that my child feel off our very high bed and the only thing I can think of is that it probably looked like falling off of the Eiffel Tower to her!! As one of my best friends always says, bless her heart!!

Long Time No Post

Okay, so I know that it has been a while, but I have not had much to post about and I am too ashamed to say that I do not have any new pictures. So, after one of my co-workers telling me to post about what I have been doing for the past couple of days I decided to take her advice. Last week all of a sudden (as I often tend to do) I decided I wanted a new vehicle. So I have been on a search and think I am about to conclude it with a Toyota Camry, but the problem as always is selling the one I have. So to all my blog stalkers, I am selling my 2005 Ford Expedition and would love to tell all of you all about it and would love for all of you to fight over buying it, so if anyone is interested please let me know.

Okay, so first off I am posting twice in one day second off I have not posted much about my daughter lately. So, this weekend Darrin and I had the best time watching Halle trying to crawl. (Yes, mother I said CRAWL) Well she can get up on all fours for just a few minutes and when she does she scoots and falls down. It is hilarious. I think we have a small clip of her doing it that I will have to post later. My baby girl is growing up so fast. Oh, and she weighed 16 lbs yesterday and 27 inches long. We have a very petite and tall girl. Maybe she will take after her uncle Keith and be tall and skinny.

Okay, I know that this might be crazy to some, but to all the mothers out there, they will understand. So, I have been torn between trying to find a new Ped doctor or just stick it out with our current one. Last week I tried calling Tuscaloosa Pediatrics to get Halle an appointment and to my surprise they were not excepting new patients unless it is a newborn or new in town. That sucks!! That really seems to be the "new" thing these days. We were really lucky getting in with the Ped that we have now. Anyway, I have not been happy with our doctor for some time. He is very smart, but when it comes to interacting with patients, he's SO out there. Well yesterday Halle had to go for her 9 month check-up and we asked to see the other WOMAN doctor that was in the same practice and we did. WOW, I absolutely loved her. She answered our questions before I could ask them. She wanted to know about her eating schedule and what she eats. She wanted to know all about her and she was VERY informative. This visit yesterday was such a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders. Thank you Lord for looking out for us.

For those of you who watched EMHE last night you will know what I mean when I say WOW. As I sat and watched last night with big tears rolling down my face, all I could think about was how lucky I, along with the rest of my family and others are to have baby Rhae in our lives. As I watched EMHE last night I thought to myself, that is going to be exactly how Rhae is going to be once she gets older. I mean she already lights up a room once she enters it and she is only 9 months old. Could you imagine what it would be like if we all could be that way? To have so much life in us. To live for every moment and be grateful for every single thing? Not to say that I am not grateful for every little thing, but I don't always show it or say it. I have realized through so many different aspects of my life that I take so much for granted. I DO NOT live for the moment, but I want to. So with all of this being said, this year, 2009 I want to live for the moment and enjoy it as well. I want to spend more time with my family and laugh more. I want to have the same outlook on life that little Jake does. Don't take anything for granted because none of us know whether we will be here tomorrow or not. I would also like to challenge all of you to do this as well. As the saying goes, "Live, Laugh and Love." And to my sweet baby Rhae, I thank God for you everyday. We are such a LUCKY family to have you in our lives. I pray that you will continue to amaze us like you do everyday. Our little miracle baby. I love you Rhae.

I would just like to share with all of my blogger friends that do not already know, this Sunday, January 11th at 7pm CST, the Grys family will be on Extreme Home Makeover. The Grys family has a son, Jake that has OI(Osteogenesis Imperfecta) which is also what my niece, Rhae has. My sister, Dana, is a member of a support group online and was chatted with the Grys family many times. They are all like family and help to support one another. Dana is very excited about it all and says it is a wonderful thing for this family. I know there will be many tears shed with just our family alone. I hope that you will all watch and will be inspired by this little guy just like we are all so inspired by Rhae.

Halle's New Word

Well Halle has a new word and AGAIN it's not Mama or Mommy. Her new word is Nana which is my step-mother. Jennifer is absolutely loving every minute of it.
Halle sits in the "big girl" bath tub every night and says nananananana and just grins from ear to ear. She also sits in her high chair and says it as well. So, maybe her next word will be Mama or Mommy. The "N's" are closer to the "M's". I will not hold my breath on that one though. Hope you all had a wonderful new year.

Well, it has been crazy around our house and I am just now getting to post our Christmas pictures of Halle. Sick,Sick and More Sick

Well, Halle has now officially had her first bout with bronchitis. She started with a fever last Friday afternoon. The daycare called me at work at 4pm and said she had a fever of over 100 degrees and we needed to pick her up. Well that was just the beginning of what I now know as a long weekend/week. She began with a cough and of course the good ole runny nose that lives at our house. So, Halle had a runny nose that we could not contain, fever of 100 to 102 with a cough that continued to get deeper and deeper into her chest. Anyway, by Sunday night we had already decided to take her to her pediatrician the next morning, but instead my wonderful sister, Nurse Dana, came over and listened to Halle's breathing. She thought that we should not wait until morning, but instead take her to the ER. We found out that there was two other kids in Halle's class that had pneumonia and we didn't want to take the chance of Halle getting it too. Anyway, so 3 hours, one shot, one prick to the heel, one prick to the finger and a CAT scan of the chest later we were home with a VERY sleepy baby. We then took her to her doctor Monday morning and for what I am not sure. Anyway, it is Thursday morning and she still has not been back to daycare. Darrin and I have been rotating days off from work. She is to have a check-up Monday morning and hopeful back to daycare she will go. So, that is my story for the week.

As we sit here in anticipation for snow, I just wanted to show some snow pics from my moms house. For those of you who don't know, my mom lives in Baytown, Texas, which is about 30 or so miles west of Houston. The snow in the pics are absolutely beautiful. I hope that Halle will get to experience the snow for the first time as well. Good luck to all of you fellow stalkers with the ice and snow as well.

8 Months Old

Well Halle is now 8 months old today. It is so hard to believe she is that old. It really has flown by. So, I was able to snap some shots of Halle yesterday morning before heading off to church in her cute little snowman dress. Thanks to Mrs. Angie for letting us borrow Taylor's dresses. She looked so cute and so grown. Her little shoes were to big, but I let her wear them until she kicked them off two or three times. She is getting so big.

Well Halle has now witnessed her first of many Christmas on the River's. Friday night Darrin and I attended the BBQ cook off while Halle stayed at home with Kaitlyn the babysitter. Saturday morning we were up bright and early cooking our sausage and cream cheese crescent rolls to take to Nana Lou's to watch the parade. We loaded up and headed over about 10:00 a.m. What a mess it was. Thanks to Andi for living so close to her mom, we parked in her yard and strolled over to Nana Lou's. We enjoyed visiting with all the Rogers and their families. I am posting pictures from the parade.

Well thanks to Halle's Aunt Dana she will probably be starting Weight Watchers with her mother starting in January. Wednesday night we went for a visit so that Dana could make us a new bow for our tree. Little did I know that Aunt Dana would feed Halle a cup of vanilla pudding and not just a couple of spoons, we are talking about the WHOLE CUP. As you can see above she did not just eat the pudding, she licked the cup as well as the foil off the top! And of course she got really pissed when we had to throw it away because there was NOTHING left. So Halle, baby, I am sorry, but maybe you will be receiving a membership to Weight Watchers as your stocking stuffer this year. Thanks Aunt Dana!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Have you ever wondered why is it that Thanksgiving just gets thrown to the side? This year in particular I have noticed all around me that department stores and people as well were decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving arrived. One in particular is the radio station out of Birmingham that I love Magic 96.5 has been playing Chrstimas music since Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but I just feel that we are all going to be tired of it before it gets here. I think that we as a country do not stop to think about what Thanksgiving is all about anymore so I wanted to share mine.

This year I have so much to be thankful for. I am so thankful to have a wonderful, healthy baby girl who loves me as much as I love her. I am thankful for my wonderful husband who I know loves me unconditionally and for my wonderful family who is always there for me no matter what. I am thankful for my beautiful, healthy niece who is alive today and doing great. Because of her I have witnessed a miracle this year. I am so thankful for my awesome sister that has all the answers to my silly questions. With me being a first time mom and her being a nurse, I always call her for answers and she never seems to be bothered by my calling. I am thankful for each and every family member that I have for so many different reasons. I have one of the best families in the world. I am also thankful for the great work family that I have. They are so good to me and they to are always their for me. We all love, laugh and cry together. And I am thankful for my wonderful friends. Liz, for pushing me to aerobics and walking, Amanda, for talking on the phone all the time, Mandy for just being Mandy, Andi, for making me laugh and our long friendship.

I am sure that I am leaving something out, but it has gotten past my bedtime and my brain is a little tired. Thank you to all of those who are in my life. I hope that we will all have many more Thanksgivings together.

Well there hasn't been much going on at the Hynniman house except teething and runny noses. We keep thinking any day that Halle is going to wake up with a tooth, but it hasn't happened yet. She is putting everything in site in her mouth. We have found that she is going to be just like her mommy and cousin Aidan with the tags. She has sucked on the tag on her favorite frog to the tag on her leapfrog mirror (yes, that it is quite funny). Thanks to Elizabeth she now has her taggy blanket with her at all times. Why didn't I think of that? Thank you Liz. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and all of our family that we will see along with our new baby cousin Hunter and his mommy and daddy that will be coming home for the weekend. Oh, and how could I forget the "big" game this weekend. Let's go Bama. Roll Tide!! I guess that is really about all. I am posting some random pictures of Halle that I am posting. I hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy being with your families.

Well for those of you who know us know that Halle has been sick AGAIN. I know that everyone says it's daycare, but crap, mommy only has so many sick days and they are gone. How do all of you "working" moms do it I ask? Halle was sick last week with an ear infection and has been on meds and started Wed night again with the fever, so I again stayed at home with her yesterday morning and took her to the doctor with me since I have been sick. Darrin was gracious enough to take a half a day so that I could come to work. Gosh, between teething and runny noses and fever, I need a vacation. Is there such a thing when you become a mom? I have been looking forward all week to Saturday night because Halle will be spending the night with her Bo and Nana while mommy and daddy go to a dance. I have seriously contemplated not going to the dance and just hiding under the covers all night and sleeping. Ha Ha. Well let's just all pray that Halle is better today since she is a daycare. Just keep us in your prayers that her sickness might go away for a while at least so mommy can get some more sick time added up.
